ABOUT LOUISE KENNEDY
Louise Kenndy FCIPD is the owner and director of leading North East HR Consultancy Oculus HR.
The Wearside based organisation provides tailored HR solutions for many of the region’s most reputable brands, across all sizes and sectors, giving organisations the confidence to manage their people.
Established in 2013, Oculus HR offers organisations a range of services, including outsourced HR support and training. Recognising that one size doesn’t fit all in HR, Louise and her team offer a bespoke service.
Louise and Oculus HR have been recognised for awards including Best Small Business at the Women Inspiring North East (WIN) Awards 2022, and Highly Commended Best Independent Business at the Sunderland Echo Business Excellence Awards 2022.
Louise has 17 years’ experience leading HR teams across all sectors including the automotive and manufacturing . Louise has also worked extensively across GP surgeries and engineering and software firms.
After identifying a gap in the North East market for a consultancy offering flexible and innovative HR solutions, Louise set up Oculus HR. Under Louise’s leadership, the team shines a light on best practice in HR.
Louise has particular experience in providing guidance on building HR strategies for future business growth and change.
New businesses can take advantage of Louise’s industry knowledge which she has used to create a New Starter Pack, providing all the documents and advice needed to set up a brand new employee.
Through masterclasses, presentations and workshops, Louise shares her knowledge on HR practicalities and legalities to businesses across the region and she also talks to start-up businesses about her journey to Oculus HR.
